| Bio: | The Gal Behind Sister Lisbeth I've been a role-player for years, both tabletop and online. When I decided to jump on the Second Life bandwagon, I naturally gravitated toward the SL RPG community. I explored several sims and RPGs, but none of them appealed to me. They were either a pain in the ass to join (endless applications, arbitrary rules, and/or a list of "things to know" encyclopedic in scope) or their communities were dead. But then, I stumbled on Midian City. MC has been featured on several weblogs and gaming coms as one of the most detailed and extensive RP sims in Second Life. Take post-apocalyptic cyberpunk, add a pinch of Gothica, a sprinkle of noir, and a whole lotta sex and violence, and you have the sprawling world of Midian City. Joining the play was relatively easy, requiring little more than some light reading, common sense, and an active imagination. And once MC embraces you, you'll never want to leave. In MC, I am Sister Lisbeth, a young and idealistic nun of the city's decaying parish. I've always enjoyed playing "holy people," especially kindly but tortured souls doing their best to survive in the cesspits of humanity. I'm alternately full of admiration and exasperated by them, by the strengths and weaknesses of their faith. I also have a lifelong love and fascination with the Catholic Church, so creating this young, sweet innocent was tremendously fun. Sooo... welcome to Sister Lisbeth's journal of her journey through Midian City. Will the good sister do her part to save Midian's lost sheep? Will she succumb to the city's temptations? Will she survive, this angel in a pit of devils... or will she be one of its many victims? Only time will tell, so read on! ;) | ||||||||||
